Pizza Pocket
It's basically a calzone.
Ingredients
Dough
- 1 cup flour
- ⅓ cup milk
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Filling
- 1 Tbsp oil
- ¼ cup pizza sauce
- ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup cooked Italian sausage
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped onion
- Garlic powder
- Pepperoni
- 2–3 Tbsp pizza sauce
- ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
Yield: 2 servings
Instructions
- Beat together dough ingredients. Knead 10 times. Let rise 15 minutes.
- Heat oven to 425ºF. Grease a cookie sheet. Roll dough into a 12" circle. Place on sheet. Brush with oil. Layer filling ingredients on half of the circle, in the order listed. Fold other half of dough over filling. Pinch closed. Prick top with fork. Bake until golden brown, 20–25 minutes.
