Baking Powder Biscuits
Basic, quick biscuits that work well as a side to most things, especially soup.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ cup shortening or butter
- 1 cup milk

Cook Time: 12 minutes
Yield: 12 biscuits
Instructions
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening. It should resemble coarse crumbs. Add milk and stir until well mixed. Drop onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake 12-15 minutes at 450°F.
